Missha Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule

Today I'm going to be reviewing a much-loved and much-discussed product. It's the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair New Science Activator Ampoule! Click the jump to get this show on the road.

So this product comes in a nice pretty purple bottle with a dropper. The bottle is made of glass and is pretty hefty. I've also dropped it a couple of times (I know...) and its held up so it's pretty well made. Inside is the amber-coloured ampoule. It smells fruity but a little bit off. The ampoule manages to both have a sticky and runny consistency at the same time. It absorbs pretty quickly but does leave a little bit of a weird texture behind on the skin.

Most people know by now that this product is an "homage" to Estee Lauder's Night Advanced Night Repair. Both boast a whole bunch of benefits and I very much so wanted this to work for me. As the foreshadowing in the previous sentence suggests, this product didn't really work for me. I rarely get breakouts or acne but this product managed to give me acne in places I didn't think could get pimples. I tried reintroducing a bunch of times with the same result before I finally gave up. I even patch-tested and that was fine. Unfortunately, this product just didn't work for me. So many people have had such great experiences with it though so if you're interested in it do a little more research and go for it. I might just be a freak of nature. ;__;

 Anyway, low star-rating because it gave me worse skin that I started out with and some bonus PIH.

✮ / ✮✮✮✮✮

I picked up mine off of G-Market (before memebox even existed! gah!) but you can get yourself one here if you're interested. I've also heard great things about the Time Revolution Essence, a product on my wishlist.
