Korean Skincare/Cosmetics Haul

I went a little crazy shopping over the past few weeks after my skin started freaking out due to my old routine. Here's all the goodies I bought (except I'm still waiting on my Sum:37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick). Some of the stuff was ordered from various ebay sellers (the visapure and the sulwhasoo/whoo stuff), while the mask sheets and the makeup stuff was from honestskin. All the samples I received were from the seller who sold me the sulwhasoo/whoo stuff. I received no samples from honestskin but I also didn't expect any (due to other reviews).

Hydro-Gel Masks

I want to take a minute and talk about a new favourite beauty product of mine - hydro-gel masks! I find them to be waaaaay nicer than the ubiquitous paper/cotton sheet masks. I find that they adhere to the face far better than paper masks and are easier to fit on my face (these come in two parts). These masks also stay moist for a lot longer than regular masks do and apparently hydro-gel is best for blocking the evaporation of whatever serum its soaked in.

These are the cheapest hydro-gel masks that I could find around - The Face Shop Vita B/C/E which come in at a whopping $2 each. It's the most I've ever paid for a face mask - yeah... I know I'm a cheapo when it comes to sheet masks because overall I don't find that sheet masks really do too much except make me feel fancy. I will probably use these as an occasional break from the innisfree / etude house masks that I horde.

The Vita line of masks from The Face Shop are for those who find other hydro-gel masks to be too expensive (me!!). Vita E is a "resilient and nourishing hydro-gel mask that contains cranberry extracts". Vita B is a "hydrating and revitalizing hydro-gel mask that makes skin look more lively". I don't have a picture of Vita C because it was the first one I used but it contained blood orange extract and was supposed to have a clarifying effect.

The Face Shop has recently rolled out stores all over Canada so it's super easy to pop into one and stock up on these. It works out to be a bit cheaper that way than it is to order them from a website (and no waiting).

My Korean Skincare Routine

So I thought today I would share my complete korean skincare collection as it is right now. I'm in the process of overhauling my routine and I will be getting rid of a lot of these products so I thought I would share what I was using for the past 6 months. I plan on doing some in-depth reviews on many of these products so be sure to check back soon. Leave a comment on what you'd like me to review first!
